    More Acts for Wireless

    wirelessWireless Festival has today announced a handful of new acts for the London event. Some of the big names announced today are Tinchy Stryder, Lady Sovereign and Metric.

    Hip hop act N-Dubz has been confirmed to play on the Sunday of the festival who guest starred on Tinchy’s recent track. Steve Appleton, Chipmunk, Zarif and Black and White Years will also be playing on the Sunday which is headlined by rap legend Kayne West.

    New acts have also been confirmed for the Saturday. Skint And Demoralised, Master Shortie, The Japanese Popstars and Phenomenal Handclap Band will all be joining the new bands.

    Previously announced acts include Basement Jaxx (who are headlining the Saturday), Filthy Dukes, Digitalism, Flo Rida, Young Jeezy and Kid Cudi.

    Wireless Festival has been minimised this year to a two day event running over the 4th-5th July. The event takes place at London’s Hyde Park.

    Tickets are on sale now for £45 a day.

    More Acts for Wireless Festival

    More acts have been announced for this year’s Wireless Festival.

    The event, which has been minimised this year, is now a two day event running over the 4th-5th July.

    Three new Saturday acts have been confirmed: techno act Digitalism, “sounds of the future” Delphic and renowned remixers Filthy Dukes. Basement Jaxx were previously announced to be headlining the Saturday which makes the first day of the festival look like an incredible array of DJ’s and electro acts.

    Five new artists have been announced for the Sunday: Q Tip, Flo Rida, Kid Cudi, Young Jeezy and Mr Hudson. The new additions lead to a very impressive hip-hop line-up on the Sunday.

    Tickets for the event, which is taking place at London’s Hyde Park, cost £40 a day.

    Kanye West Confirmed to Headline Wireless 2009

    Legendary hip hop star Kanye West has been confirmed as the Sunday headliner for the Wireless 2009 festival.

    Currently, other acts have yet to be confirmed for the last day of the event. This announcement today means that Wireless 2009 will be Kanye’s only UK show date this year.

    The other headliner, on the Saturday, is Basement Jaxx. The Streets, Paul Oakenfold and Dizzee Rascal will also be playing on the Saturday. Wireless 2009 is just a two-day event this year and has been downsized from previous events. The festival runs from 4-5th July.
