17 More Acts for Download’s Line-Up

download-dogDownload Festival organisers have announced 17 more acts today to play the Donington event including  Hatebreed and Suicide Silence.

Other acts confirmed for the weekend are In This Moment, God Forbid, A Day To Remember, Therapy?, Backyard Babies, Hostile and Middle Class Rut. The latter four all playing on the Tuborg Stage.

No Americana, We Are The Ocean, Turbowolf, Sylosis, Esoterica and Voivod will all be playing on the third stage.

Download Festival takes place at Donington Park, Castle Donington from 12th – 14th June. This year’s event has Faith No More, Def Leppard and Slipknot headlining the weekend.

Passes are available for £135 for a weekend ticket.

Download Announce 12 More Acts

Download festival organisers have today confirmed twelve more acts for their festival including Fightstar and The Answer.

Other new bands joining the bill are Bring Me The Horizon, Stone Gods, Staind, Facecage, Go:Audio, Shinedown, Static-X, Auger Bane, Volbeat and Sevendust.

These new bands will be joining many rock legends which includes: Korn, Slipknot, Marilyn Mansion, Faith No More and even electric DJ’s The Prodigy.

The event takes place from the 12th – 14th June at Donington Park.

Download Festival Tickets On Sale

Tickets for one of the UK’s biggest rock festivals, Download, went on sale earlier today at 9am. Download 2009 takes place from 12th to 14th June at Donnington Park, Leicestershire. Tickets are currently priced at £135 for an early bird camping pass. Other tickets are also available.

The bands currently announced to play at the three day event include headliners Slipknot, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, The Prodigy, Whitesnake, Limp Bizkit and Dragonforce.
